Private Range Instruction

Would you rather have some dedicated instruction? Our instructors offer one-on-one training. This is for anyone looking for a personalized experience in developing new skills or improving upon existing skills all in a private one-on-one basis. 

Range Instruction is time-based, $125/hr for one person and $200/hr for a couple, range fees of $20 are additional/per person.  One-on-one instruction can be set up based on your schedule and budget.  

Students need to have taken a basic safety course, have their CWL, or have instructor approval prior to enrollment. 

Why do private range instruction?

Do you do better in a one on one setting than in the classroom? The main benefit is that each session is custom-tailored to the specific needs of the student(s).  Typical sessions might include a focus on the following skill sets: 

• Safety and gun handling
• Basic manipulation (loading and unloading)
• Fundamentals of marksmanship
  • Proper Grip
  • Trigger Control
  • Proper Stance
  • Breath Control
  • Sight Picture/Sight Alignment
  • Alignment Follow Through
• Malfunctions and Clearing
• One-handed shooting
• Shooting analysis 

With a private lesson, you are in the driver’s seat and manage the curriculum. We can help you achieve your shooting goals in a minimum amount of time and cost commitment. 

What should you bring or not bring? 

• Firearm (personal or rental)
• Ammunition (can be purchased at the range)
  • 100 rounds minimum per hour of instruction required
• Rim hat/Ballcap
• No open shoes
• No open shirt/blouse
