At Riveraitc Firearms Training Academy, we offer comprehensive and flexible training programs tailored to your needs. While we have adapted to post-COVID realities, we continue to offer our classes in both online and in-person formats to accommodate everyone.

Class Structure:

Virtual Classroom Session (3 hrs): Engage with our expert instructors live online in an interactive classroom setting. This portion covers theoretical knowledge essential for responsible gun ownership.

Practical Live-Fire Exercise: Following the online classroom session, join us at the range for a hands-on live-fire exercise. This is where you put your learning to practice in a safe and controlled environment.

Our classes are semi-private, ensuring a personalized experience for you or your group.

Florida Concealed Weapons License:

The training you receive from us not only prepares you for safe firearm handling but also fulfills the requirements for the Florida Concealed Weapons License, which is recognized in 35 states.

What’s Included:

• Both classroom and practical sessions
• Range time and targets (Please bring your own firearm and at least 50 rounds of ammunition)

Course Coverage:

• Licensing protocols and procedures
• Legal aspects, use of force laws, and safety regulations
• Basic firearm handling and marksmanship fundamentals

Upon Completion:

Successful participants will receive certification and guidance to apply for their Florida Concealed Weapons License at a Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) office or an authorized Florida tax collector's office.

Required Documentation:

• Valid Driver's License
• Permanent Resident Card (if applicable)
• A copy of your driver's license required upon registration

Additional Details:

• U.S. Citizens or lawful permanent residents as per U.S. Department of Homeland Security standards are eligible.
• Own a handgun? You’re encouraged to bring it, though it's not mandatory.
• Dress appropriately: hats are advisable; however, cut-off shirts and sandals are not permitted.

Fees:

The course fee includes range fees. Please note, the Florida state processing fees for the CCW license are separate.
