At Riveraitc Firearms Training Academy, we provide specialized training tailored to meet your individual or group needs, offering both online and in-person class formats. Our comprehensive approach ensures you gain the knowledge and skills necessary for responsible firearm handling.

Class Structure:

Classroom Instruction (3 hrs, Virtual): Our classes start with a live, interactive virtual session, led by expert instructors. This setting allows you to engage and learn the theoretical aspects of firearm safety and handling from the comfort of your home.

Practical Live-Fire Exercise: After the virtual classroom session, you'll join us in person for a hands-on live-fire exercise at our range. This practical session is designed to test your skills and ensure you're ready for real-world scenarios.

Classes are privately conducted, ensuring a personalized learning experience whether you're training solo or with a group.

Comprehensive Curriculum:

Our 4-hour course is meticulously designed to not only meet but exceed the requirements for obtaining a Florida Concealed Weapons License (CWL). The CWL is honored in 35 states, making it a valuable credential for firearm owners. The course covers:

• Licensing protocols and requirements
• Legal issues including use of force laws
• General do's and don'ts of firearm handling
• Basic firearm safety and marksmanship

Course Fees:

The fee for this comprehensive training package covers firearm rentals, and ammunition. Please note, Florida processing fees for the CCW license are separate.

Course Completion and Certification:

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will demonstrate safe shooting skills and receive a certificate. We facilitate the application process for your concealed weapon license with an in-person appointment at a designated Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) office or an authorized tax collector's office.

Documentation and Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License or Permanent Resident Card required for registration.
• A copy of your driver’s license is required upon registration.
• Suitable for U.S. Citizens or lawful permanent residents as verified by the Department of Homeland Security.

Recommendations for Participants:

• While not mandatory, participants are strongly encouraged to bring and use their own handgun to familiarize themselves with their personal firearm.
• Appropriate attire is required: a hat is recommended, but cut-off shirts and sandals are prohibited.
• Participants should bring a minimum of 100 rounds of ammunition.
